Well, it’s one-month into summer with the kids, and I’m thinking I want to see some serious sun. I’m thinking palm trees and margarita’s…or maybe just a gin & tonic, while relaxing with a good book. That doesn’t sound very good to my kids though. They want to do something fun and exciting, like Disney World.
Travelocity: Cheapest: Starting at $2167 Total ($549 per person). Recommended: $2654 Total ($664 per person) staying at the “Floridays Resort” in Orlando. These are cool vacation suites with kitchens and 2 separate bedrooms! Best prices were found on Sunday-Friday, but were not much more on the weekends. If you pay with a Master Card, use promocode SAVE100 and get another $100 off.
LastMinute.com: I highly recommend you wait to book here until 1-2 weeks before your trip. The savings are huge, but preferred dates are not always available. For instance, look at departing the next Thursday and returning the following Tuesday (5 nights). Cheapest: $1125 Total ($281.46 per person…holy cow, that’s cheap!) Recommended: $1304 Total ($326 per person) staying at the “Extended Stay Deluxe Orlando Westwood” with a kitchen! Can anyone beat those prices? Save up to 70% on last second travel deals!
Expedia: Cheapest: $1624 Total ($406 per person) #1 Recommended: $2266 Total ($566 per person) staying at the “Nickolodean Family Suites”, in a 2-bedroom suite. Now, my kids really want to stay there! Have you seen that place? It has a huge arcade and waterslides. Looks a little crazy, but fun for the kids I’m sure. #2 Recommended: $1881 Total ($471 per person) staying at “Disney’s Pop Century Resort” I have never heard of this hotel, which describes itself as a “whimsical time capsule of 20th-century pop culture” actually sounds really cool with “decade themed buildings” from the 1950’s to the 1990’s. Now that is unique! I want an ’80’s room, that’s my era…
Priceline: Cheapest: $1670 Total ($417 per person). #1 Recommended: $2189 Total ($547 per person) staying at the “Crowne Plaza Universal Orlando”, or #2 Recommended: $2336 Total ($584 per person) staying at the best “J.W. Marriot Orlando Grande Lakes” with a spa and lazy river. This might be a little fancy for the kids, but I’ve gotta have fun too!
Also, tickets to Walt Disney World are also on sale, you get two days free, anywhere you buy. You can buy them included in your vacation package while you are booking.
